We use trap crops and timely pest control to keep harmful insects from spreading disease.  Seed on our farm is produced from mini-tubers from greenhouse sources and is brought to the G4 level through Colorado's generation program. Our seed is stored in state-of-the-art climate controlled facilities and is checked daily for pulp temperature and relative humidity to make sure that the seed potatoes are in top condition. SVF works with independent agricultural consultants to manage various farm systems such as irrigation water management and plant nutrient analysis.
